Empowering Lancer Students and Teachers
The La Follette Board of Visitors has had in depth discussions with Teachers, Students and Administrative Staff to identify the most immediate needs for funding and support. We have identified $60,000 of critical needs; we are asking for support from alumni and the community:
-
Developing a School within a School to help the most-at-risk students graduate
-
Expanding the food pantry to include clothing and laundry facilities to better serve students and their families
-
Supplying teachers with much needed materials for their classrooms and programs
-
Providing consistent and ongoing tutoring to help students that are falling behind
-
Onboarding a communications platform to help the school stay in contact with students, families and the community
Thanks to a generous benefactor every dollar donated up to $30,000 will be matched dollar for dollar. Help us make this important mission -- through these critical programs -- a reality by donating now.
“My motivation every day is empowering students and teachers for success. This fundraising campaign is a down payment on our kid’s future and I hope you will join us in supporting them.” – Devon LaRosa, LHS Principal
“There are few causes more critical than supporting students and teachers. I sincerely hope you will join me in supporting these important initiatives, it is the least that we can do for them.” – anonymous alumni donor
